Where do I live?
I live along the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis, MD., with my beautiful wife and two daughters.
Why did I become a professional artist?
Because I was never cut out to sit in a cubicle, commute in traffic, or work nine to five. And goofing off is in the job description! Plus, a cartoonist's office is like being in the plastic ball pit at a McDonald's Play Place... without the germs of course.
What is my workday like?
Much like a brain surgeon's day. Except without the brain surgery, degree from Harvard or beeper on my belt. And when you work out of a home office, you can't escape the occasional chore (try as I might).
Do I sleep 'til noon?
No. You're thinking of painters and sculptors. I'm a VERY early riser. A fresh cup of pencils and a #2 coffee, and I'm ready to go!
